Excellence in Housing Awards 2012

WINNER
Town houses or villas/dual occupancy $400,001 – $600,000

Judges’ comments:

This entry certainly has a “Newmark” about it with an abundance of natural light to the spacious interiors complementing the style and quality of finishes and a workable cross-ventilation to cater for the different seasons.

The builder has utilised the site’s three metre diagonal fall that saw 60% of the sites draining to the council infrastructure through a charged stormwater system and 25% collected and discharged into underground absorption trenches.

The architectural roof lines and projecting roof feature which resides above the main central staircase and stair void is responsible for the introduction of the large portion of natural light to flood the core of the building like an atrium.
